Yes, and it is going strong! Right now we also have an ice rink on the Square, an outdoor Movies series in the Fall, and concerts in the summer and early fall. Come back to visit!

How difficult is this ride?

It’s Knoxville, so there are some hills, but this route avoids the worst of them. Traffic around the mall area is going to be heavy, of course, but there is a shoulder on the road going to the mall that parallels the interstate.

I live in Ft. City: is there a good way to get to Market Square from there?-Cherry

That is a tough one. Going south, you can take Old Broadway, then cross Broadway, then Walker Blvd. You can then connect into this route to get to downtown. Heading north, take Old Broadway then Tazewell Pike and cut through the parking lot for Party City, etc to get back to the shoulder on Broadway.
