Address

Rainforest Guilly, Australian National Botanic Gardens, Acton, Canberra

Description

One part of the Australian National Botanic Gardens is dedicated to the hot and humid Rain Forest climatic system. At the bottom of a small gully, a dense forest of fern is regularly watered. The hot Canberra weather in summer, and the protection of the gully in winter let the groth of that mini rainforset in the open, in a place and climate not used to this type of vegetation. It is quite a quiet and fresh place for the tourist not used to Canberra hot summer too..
