Stone pillars and walls known as hoodoos create a unique vista from the rim of Bryce Canyon. Eroded out of the edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau, Bryce Canyon is in fact not a canyon; it does not have another side, but instead drops 2000 ft to the plains below.
