On Saturday, October 27 from 10 am to 3 pm, the 18th annual ArtsFest will be held on the grounds of the Lake Charles Civic Center.
Over 1,000 K-7th grade students are expected to attend, along with siblings, parents and grandparents. There will be over 30 arts and crafts projects, in addition to a costume contest, exhibitions and performances of music, dance and folk-art.
This year’s theme is “It’s A Yankee Doodle ArtsFest” and will highlight the era leading up to the American Revolutionary War.
