Art:21 Art in the Twenty-first Century Season Four Preview Screening Friday, October 12, 7:00 p.m.

Special preview screening of Art:21, the award-winning series on contemporary art from PBS! The artists featured in the Art:21 series demonstrate the breadth of artistic practice across the country and reveal a wealth of intergenerational and multicultural talent. Their art is a dynamic collection of materials, methods and subject matters that provoke curiosity, dialogue and debate. The series presents artists speaking directly to the audience and encourages viewers to find their own innate abilities to engage contemporary art and explore creative thinking and self-expression. This season%u2019s themes are Ecology, Paradox, Protest and Romance and artists include Jenny Holzer, Pierre Huyghe, Robert Ryman, Nancy Spero, Ursula van Rydingsvard and many more. A discussion and light refreshments follow the screening. Free with admission or membership.
