Custer State Park

created by  mcghiever

Description

One of the largest and most famous state parks in the country, Custer State Park is a haven for wildlife and outdoor recreation in the Black Hills. Many of the public and private bison herds in the country are descended from stock in the park’s herd. The northwest corner of the park is traversed by the famous Needles Highway, which wends its way between granite spires and through one-lane tunnels.
