When we think of the arts in the United States, we often think of nonprofit arts as the primary means of delivery. Nonprofit organizations depend, in large part, on donors, grants, and the generosity of volunteers. Many have suggested that this model is outdated and that we must find new models for supporting the arts. We will explore whether the model is truly outdated, consider some new models for giving, as well as future trends for the sustainability of the arts, in both for profit and nonprofit sectors.

We will be holding a Career Fair from 9 to noon on the same day. Organizations are encouraged to participate in this event as well (it’s also a great way to meet prospective interns). Lunch is provided for those participating in both the Career Fair and Creative Conversations.
