Barton Springs is the heart and soul of Austin. It is in the middle of Zilker Park, right in the center of town…a giant natural spring that has been turned into a recreational pool. It is 68degrees year round…so, it feels cold in summer and warmish in winter. It is surrounded by giant pecan trees and shaded hills to lay out on. From the water you can see the Austin skyline.
