The Texas Capital is really worth a look. It is slightly larger(as the story goes in Texas) than the U.S. Capitol and is similarly modeled. But, it is made out of pink Texas granite. It is really beautiful, as are the sprawling grounds which are open to the public. Take a look inside as well…you can climb up the dome.
