The lake front in the middle of town has a nice rock beach. In the hot summer months, people take a swim or hang out in the sun, drinking beer or flying kites. The water is icy cold glacial runoff. My favorite part is standing waist-deep in the water and looking out at the mountains and glaciers on the other side of the lake.
