1/26/08 – Henry and I finally checked out Momofuku. The hostess told us we had to wait up to one and a half hour. But, lucky for us we only waited for thirty minutes i.e. she over-quoted the waiting time.

We had the steamed buns, apple kimchi, Sam gyap sul, and brussel sprouts. The steamed buns were by far the best dish of the night. But honestly, this isn’t anything you can’t get better and cheaper at a dirty hole in the wall in China Town. I guess the difference in price must be the hipster atmosphere!
