The second phase to the Rocky Creek Trail seems to currently be unpaved and more for walking than biking. The bridge’s access has been blocked, and Durham is looking at building a new, arched bridge with blue lights as sort of a gateway to the city, but not in this exact location. Finalization of Phase 2 Trail will most likely await the building of this new bridge, and along with it access to downtown along this route.
