The University of Richmond Stadium, conveniently located between the campus and downtown Richmond at 3201 Maplewood Ave Richmond, VA 23221, features seating for 22,611 (9,000 for soccer), a “world class” natural grass playing field and electronic scoreboard with message center. The stadium contains spacious locker rooms with wall-to-wall carpeting, a training area, and two-level press box. In addition to the Spider football team and the Richmond Kickers, U of R Stadium also hosts the Virginia High School Football Championships and was the site of the 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 NCAA Men’s Soccer Championships.
