Located just across the street from the Judiciary Square Metro station (Red Line), the National Building Museum is all about architecture and urban planning. Despite the structure’s grand size (the interior really is impressive), there generally are only a few exhibits open at a time.

We highly recommend the museum on the basis of its beautiful atrium and its impressively stocked gift shop, which offers plenty of food for thought and inspiration for people interested in architecture, design and urban spaces. more info »
