Mesquite was a U.S. Coast Guard Buoy Tender that was 180’.

In 1989 while removing a buoy the ship ran aground off Keweenaw Pt. The ship was removed and sank in Keystone Bay for sport divers. Many artifacts are still on the wreck.

The wreck is located in Bete Grise Bay.
