Venue Details: The venue stands in the Lingotto area to the south of the present exhibition structure, in a single building that is divided into 3 parts: foyer, competition hall, and technical area. The building houses an ice rink. The covering of the structure is completely suspended without intermediate supports, so as to create a single free area.
There are stands around the rink that can house up to 8,500 spectators for the Olympic competitions, while the post-Olympic layout will house up to 2,000 spectators on removable stands positioned along a straight with a free view of the rink.
After the Olympics, the structure will be used for fairs and exhibitions connected to the existing Lingotto Fiere structure, also maintaining the possibility of using the ice rink venue. In order to be able to use the building for exhibitions, mobile cross elements will be used so that the building can be divided.
