The venue is a temporary structure set up inside the Giovanni Agnelli pavilion of the Torino Esposizioni. The building was designed by Pier Luigi Nervi and has hosted the most important fairs for the past ten years. The sporting venue is temporary: the pavilion will return to its normal use after the Olympics.
