The Journey is the Destination

Our original plan was to finish the ride in Bar Harbor on June 30, 2004. Barb and Pat were to meet us at the hotel and we would spend about five days exploring the Acadia area.

We actually reunited with our wives on the side of the road in Auburn, ME on June 30. We were about a day and a half short of our goal.

Our journey was over but really we were still on top of the mountain.
