At the next roundabout take the first exit (left) towards Dishforth, Ripon and Newby Hall. Competitors who raced in 2004 or earlier may recognise this as the bottom roundabout of the old route. The road you are now on used to be part of the A1. It is a popular time trialling route. You should stay on this road until the third rounabout several miles ahead. You will pass Dishforth airfield on route.
