Scene of many of my happiest food memories, this is ostensibly one of the places that started it all. We went here when I was a little kid and my parents were still together. Excellent shrimp wonton soup and house pan fried noodle. Also very very tasty roast duck, bbq pork, and crispy-skinned pork.
Decor has evolved greatly from when I was little to a fairly non-”dirty” place (my grandmother used to call it the “dirty restaurant” in Thai, tho we’d still go there). They still seem to use the same hard crystalline red cups for water with faded Coke logos, though.
