This was the location of my hotel, Fañabé Costa Sur. Not really recommended, a bit to big for my liking, it felt rather like a hospital. Las Américas is an ugly town, a mashup of concrete and aluminium with no discernible centre. However, it is famous for its night life (of which I didn’t see much because I was there in the off season) and the transport infrastructure is good, so there’s no problem in getting to much more beautiful places.
