F4 Tour – Steel Yourself

U.S. Steel’s Granite City Works is an integrated steel works that began making granite ware (thus the town’s name) and continues to make tinplate as well as sheet and tubular steel products. On the way back you’ll get a windshield tour of the former industries of East St. Louis, a visit to the former stockyards, and Boeing’s Prologue Room, an exhibit on the heritage of aircraft manufacture and innovation begun in St. Louis by James S. McDonnell.
