This is where the Angeles Crest Highway starts. There’s a clearly marked exit off the 210.

Two things:

1. The Angeles Crest highway is closed about 10 miles before Wrightwood due to landslides from the Winter ‘04 rains. There is no way across the mountains on this road, but there are still many miles of twisties (and a lot less traffic).

2. Don’t forget to fill up your tank at the Shell station! There are no gas stations on the Angeles Crest Highway.
