This is one of my favorite sushi places in the city. It’s tiny and cramped, but the fish is good. There’s usually a DJ spinning something mellow, so you can actually have a private conversation, despite the fact that there are people 20-inches on either side of you.

Make sure you get a reservation early, or plan on eating before 7 or after 9:30. They’re open late, and everyone is helpful and friendly.

Oh, if they have the Toro, make sure you try it.
