I know nothing about this place, but it was linked from Gridskipper . It’s apparently the real-life counterpart to the school portrayed in The School of Rock (the 2003 Jack Black movie). They have locations all over the country, including four or so in PA—Philadelphia, Bucks County, and supposedly one coming in Pittsburgh. The company’s main website is SchoolOfRock.com. It sounds quite serious. Tuition includes weekly group and private instruction, and there are regular concerts (schedule) using (supposedly) professional equipment.
