JanKris Winery & Vineyards is a family owned estate winery located on the west side of the Paso Robles appellation in the area called “The Templeton Gap.” Established in 1990 by Mark and Paula Gendron, daughters January and Kristin are both the company’s namesakes and successors.

JanKris grows Merlot, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Sangiovese, Petite Syrah, Petite Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Mouvedre, Chardonnay, and Viognier. The label is known for its mastery of unique blends such as the Picaro, Riatta and the Crossfire, a signature blend of Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah. Deemed “fruit-forward” wines, JanKris wines exemplify the result of hand crafted expertise from planting and grafting, to growing and finally, bottling.
