June 22-25, 2006 – Diamond Lake Campground. A huge, delapilated, and fascinating place. It was built in the late 60’s by a gambling Oil Swell to impress his Las Vegas friends. Originally it included an aquaculture venture, a live theatre, a large restaurant, and who knows what else. Not much left of the hey day, but it’s a nice place to camp. Lots of local families.
