Opolo Vineyards is located on a beautiful 70 acre mountain site, west of Paso Robles. Here, the poor mountain soils, high daytime temperatures and cool nighttime temperatures combine to yield intense grapes that are the necessary ingredients to produce fine wines. At Opolo, all of our wines are estate grown, produced and bottled, and production is typically less than 500 cases per varietal. Our specialities include big mountain Zinfandels, classic Zinfandels, full bodies Pinot Noirs, Merlots, and Syrahs, as well as an ‘easy going’ Sangiovese. We also have other great varietals, including Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and a delightfully sweet and fragrant Muscat Canelli.
