Jim & Shirley Gibbons purchased their property in 1980 as a retirement site, however after becoming intrigued by the wines in the area decided to plant the property in vineyards. Jim began studying viticulture and making some homemade wines, which won several awards, therefore he opted to open a family run boutique winery specializing in small lots of handcrafted wines.

The wines are made on the estate by Jim and his techniques are producing award winning wines aged in both American and French oak. Shirley and Jim’s son, Chris, has now joined in to help out with both the vineyard management and winemaking. He made his first vintage with the 2003 harvest and the wines are developing into varietals we are sure to be well received in the tasting room.
