Reconcile New Orleans, Inc., the nonprofit organization of which Café Reconcile and St. Regis Hospitality Program are initiatives, fuels economic vitality and growth in this area of New Orleans. Located in the heart of the Central City, an economically challenged neighborhood suffering from many social troubles, Reconcile stands as a beacon of hope for a new and better life.

Café Reconcile employs local residents, trains at-risk youth from the Greater New Orleans area and is the setting of our behind-the-scenes effort called the St. Regis Hospitality Program. At-risk youth from Central City and other neighborhoods work diligently to gain the life and job skills necessary to be successfully employed in the N.O. hospitality industry. The youth are trained in five basic jobs in a typical restaurant: from mopping the floor, to food preparation, to table waiter. They gain vital hands-on experience by working at Café Reconcile.
