The renovation of the site, which was Sacramento%u2019s original Sears & Roebuck building began in April 2005. The project will feature 4,600 sq. ft. of office space and 23 residential apartments on the third and fourth floors. The new facility will also feature space for two restaurants on the ground floor and 38 onsite parking spaces for tenants in a sublevel parking garage. The main restaurant space with 6,575 sq. ft. and 785 sq. ft. of mezzanine space, will be occupied by Ella, a new elegant bistro concept owned and operated by the same ownership group as The Kitchen and Selland%u2019s Market.

Occupancy is expected to take place in September 2006.
