Beaverhead National Forest
Campground is located on a hilltop between Wade and Cliff Lakes
among grand old pines. Although campground sites do not have
view of the lakes, the tranquility and gentle breeze makes it a
pleasant stay.
n West Yellowstone, MT, at intersection of US Rts. 20 and 191, take Rt.
191/287 north 8.3 miles to US Rt. 287. Turn left, following Rt. 287, and go
23.4 miles to Cliff and Wades Lake sign. Turn left at sign and go 3.4 miles
o “Y” intersection. Bear right and go 1.8 miles to another “Y” intersection.
Bear left and go 0.1 miles to Hilltop campground sign. Turn right at sign and
go 0.8 miles to campground.
