Beaverhead National Forest

The campground is a designated wildlife area, particularly
for Bald Eagle and Osprey. The campground is picturesque and
tranquil, located on the spring-fed Wade Lake with some sites
overlooking the lake. It is terraced up the west shore of
the lake situated among mature pines.
From West Yellowstone, MT, take US Rt. 191/287 north 9.2 miles to
where Rt. 287 branches off. Turn left, following Rt. 287, and go
34 miles to Cliff and Wade Lakes sign. Turn left at sign and go
3.4 miles to “Y” intersection . Bear right at intersection and
go 1.8 miles to another “Y” intersection. Bear right at
intersection and go 0.7 miles to campground.
