The capital of Rwanda. I visited in Aug and Sep 2006. In August we stayed at the Hotel Chez Lando. It looks pretty modest but the $80 a night room was rather nice. There was a restaurant and night club there as well. When the city lost power (it happens often) the Hotel Chez Lando generators kicked in immediately to restore power while all around us was dark.
