I am a local artist from Homewood with work as diversified as my life. My focus and passion is ceramic sculptures, which are organic and influenced by nature. My aspiration as an artist is to capture a mere glimpse of God%u2019s beauty.

Clay is my chosen medium and Raku is my favorite glazing technique. The extremes of nature%u2019s elements, fire, air and water, influence the effect. Each piece is unique, impossible to duplicate. This method is a constant surprise and challenge.

I have exhibited at a number of shows and also teach classes are for beginners in the art of hand building and sculpture. You can find my art year round at Art Alley (Edgewood), Bare Hands Gallery (Birmingham), Lyda Rose (Homewood) and Flora (Homewood).
