Photography

I became interested in photography in my early teens. After graduating from high school, I began working as a darkroom technician and went on to earn a degree in photography and film communication from Calhoun College in Decatur. During my time in college, I participated in a number of solo and group exhibits.

I work primarily in black and white, using traditional darkroom techniques. My prints are hand printed and selenium toned. I work with 35mm, medium and large format, depending on the location. My work features landscape images mostly from northern Alabama and southern Tennessee; however I have recently assembled a color portfolio from the southwest United States.
