The Borders in Evanston used to be a bit smaller and was located a couple of blocks west. The current Borders is in the middle of a heavily, and recently developed part of Evanston. A lot of chain stores in the development. Too bad. I kind of agree with the conservative Evanston citizens when they resisted the overdevelopment of the downtown area.
