I went there for a short little goodbye walk on the last day, from Erjos down to Los Silos near the coast. This is a fantastic landscape: First you move through dense and almost tropical rainforest, before passing a little ghost village and then entering one of the most dramatic barrancos, right on top of picturesque Los Silos.
On a lucky day, you may find an umbrella next to the footpath: Look underneath, there’s usually some fresh fruit or aniseed for hungry walkers to take away (but don’t forget to leave a bit of small change in the cup labelled “Gracias”).
