a gas station some 2hrs from Perth, we ran out of wine… and it was my turn to get some… being told the bottle shop is a mere 2min walk, i was not concerned about running barefoot…turned out it was 5mins to run on sizzling tar…but i survived it despite the huge blisters i got…plus the guy in the shop felt sorry enough to give me some old thongs for free for my run back to the bus…
