Frankie Laine (Miami HON), born Francesco Paolo LoVecchio (March 30, 1913 %u2013 February 6, 2007), was one of the most successful American singers of the twentieth century. Often billed as America’s Number One Song Stylist, his other nicknames include Mr. Rhythm, Old Leather Lungs, and Old Man Jazz. His star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame resides at 6385 Hollywood Blvd.
