Deschutes makes some of the best beer on the west coast. The Mirror Pond IPA is fantastic (and available in grocery stores up and down the west coast) but the bitter and brown ales are worth the trip to Bend.

The food is good, fancied-up bar fare. Make sure you try the sausage of the day!
